Disc golf has grown in popularity because it’s fun and inexpensive to play. You don’t need a lot of equipment or to learn a lot of rules to play disc golf in Manassas. Then head to these disc golf courses near your Manassas apartment home

Bull Run Regional Park

The closest place to play a round of disc golf is at Bull Run Regional Park. The course is flat and woodsy with most holes between 300 and 400 feet. The camp store sells discs and supplies. After your game, take a stroll on one of the nice trails. If you’re looking for a place for a staycation, rent one of the cabins for the night.

To celebrate your win, order a Panini and a piece of Baklava from Taste of Old Country. Call for curbside pick up or have it delivered through Door Dash. Their meat and cheese platter would be great to share with your competitors. The shop has wine, soaps, flavored oils, and other fantastic gifts you can purchase in-person or online

Pohick Bay Regional Park

It’s about a 37-minute drive to Pohick Bay Regional Park, but it’s worth it. The 18 hole disc golf course was designed by Ed Headrick who is known as the “Father of Disc Golf.” The holes are challenging due to the trees, but 17 of the holes are less than 300 feet. The park also has a mini-golf course, camping, and picnic areas. Kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddleboard rentals are available. A visit to Pohick Bay would make a great day trip or weekend getaway. Note that there is an $8 per car entry fee to the park and a $2 fee to play disc golf.
